Technical Education – Starting of (7) Government Residential Polytechnics from the academic year 2013-14 – Administrative Sanction – Accorded – Orders – Issued

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, the Commissioner of Technical Education, A.P., Hyderabad has furnished the proposal for sanction of (4) new Government Polytechnic Colleges for Tribal's in Utnoor of Adilabad Dist, Medaram of Warangal District, Rampachodavaram of East Godavari District and Gummalaxmipuram of Vizianagaram District to start with (2) Diploma Courses namely DME and DEEE with an intake of (60) in each course from the academic year 2013-14, which have market demand with an estimated estimated cost of Rs.654.00 lakhs each.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Technical Education, AP, Hyderabad has furnished the proposal for sanction of new Government Polytechnic College at Seetampeta of Srikakulam District to start with (2) Diploma Courses namely Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering with an intake of (60) in each course which have market demand with an estimated cost of Rs. 589.11 lakhs.
3. Government after careful examination have accepted the proposal of the Commissioner of Technical Education and hereby accord Administrative Sanction to start the following (7) Government Residential Polytechnics from the Academic year 2013-14 subject to obtaining approval of AICTE, New Delhi:

4. Separate Government orders will be issued regarding sanction of posts for the Polytechnic.
5. The Commissioner of Technical Education, AP, Hyderabad shall take necessary action for sending necessary proposals for sanction of posts.
