Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued Rules for Approval of Staff for Private Elementary Teacher Education Institutions in the State based on the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) Norms, 2007 for Elementary Teacher Education. The National Council of Teacher Education has issued new norms for Elementary Teacher Education Programme, 2009 leading to Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (D.El.Ed)
